Welcome to Community Fellowship’s Women’s Ministry! We provide various areas of service and we’d love for you to join us as we have fellowship, study God’s Word, and serve others! As Paul taught in I Corinthians 12, the body is a unit though it is made up of many parts; and through all its parts it forms one body. There are various gifts and all of them are important to the body. YOU have a specific purpose here in the CFC body! We need you & want you to serve with us! Coffee & Conversation (Sheila Lilly) Coffee & Conversation is held the 1st Tuesday of every month at a local coffee house where we meet for coffee (or your preferred drink) and have fellowship. This ministry offers us a time to get acquainted better! All ladies are welcome! Women of the Word Teachers (Dianne Durham, Teri Griffith, Kim Spears) On Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm women’s Bible studies are held. Different topics are studied. All women of any age are encouraged to attend. Decorating & Sunday's Coffee (Trish Breeden, Debbie Breeden, Karen McGuffin) Sanctuary Flowers (Dot Stinespring) The flower ministry places flowers in the sanctuary weekly. If you would like to order flowers in honor of someone or in memory of someone, there is a sign up sheet on the Welcome Center or you may call Dot. Ladies Spring Tea (Sheila Lilly) Martha Food Ministry (Dot Stinespring, Yvonne Weatherholtz) The Martha Ministry is a vital part of our women’s ministry. This area of ministry prepares food for families that are in need. There may be times you are asked to prepare a meal for a family who has experienced an illness, or prepare a dish of food for a bereaved family. If you have ever been a recipient of this ministry, you know what a blessing it can be. |
