Do you like music? Do you like music full of energy and hope of the gospel of Jesus Christ? Here at CFC, we believe that music is a very large part of preparing our hearts to receive from God what He has for us. It paves the way; it sets the table so we are ready to receive the word. "Praise & Worship" is not just a Sunday thing; it's a lifestyle.
CHOIR The choir is a great way to use your talents for the Lord. Rehearsals are Thursday nights from 6:30-7:45PM. The choir participates in all services. The requirements are to have a love for God, for music, and be able to match pitch. Does that sound like you? We need you! Thursday nights and Sunday mornings are times we look forward to. We can't wait to see what God is going to do, come and join us!
BAND The band is another great way to let God use your talents. All we ask is that you have at least a high school proficiency. The band rehearses on Thursday nights from 8:00-9:15PM. The band participates in all services. Do you play an instrument? We need you! Come and join us!
There are different times of the year that we do larger productions but all year we just want to give our best to the one who has given His very best to us. It's more than just playing or singing a song, its pouring out ourselves to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords and allowing Him to use us for His glory. It's not about us; it's about Him.
We understand that we are not professionals, just available. God's Word is full of examples of God taking ordinary people and doing extraordinary things. Let's serve our Lord with the talents and gifts He has given us and make a difference!
