- 9:00 & 10:45 A.M. - Sanctity of Life Sunday — There will be a representative from ComfortCare Women’s Health (formerly The Pregnancy Help Center) in service with us to share a brief word of encouragement. We will receive a love offering to aid their ministry in the community. Thanks in advance for your generosity.
January 25-27
- Teen Winter Retreat — The 2008 Teen Retreat will be held January 25-27 in Harrisonburg. Registration forms and fees are due by Sunday, January 6th. Don’t miss this amazing weekend away … hanging out with friends, playing in the snow, hearing great messages, awesome music, and a hilarious comedy team. Please see Pastor Josh for registration forms and/or more details. (For grades 6-12)
January 29
- Children's Snow Tubing — Children kindergarten thru 5th grade will be taking a trip to Massanutten Resort, Tuesday, January 29th, to go snowtubing! We will run the bus and pick up children beginning at 4pm. Children must be in attendance on Sunday mornings for 3 of the 4 Sundays in January to participate. It is FREE for the children. Adult helpers cost is $8/person.
February 9
- Team Day — Pastor Jeff would like to extend an invitation to anyone interested in attending an event designed to provide a day of inspiration, equipping, and the opportunity to network with other pastors, staff, and laity on the Virginia District. TEAM Day will be held on Saturday, February 9th from 8:30am—4:30pm in Mechanicsville at the Hanover Church of the Nazarene. This event will feature nationally known keynote speaker, Dr. Reggie McNeal, as well as others. Many workshops will be available with leaders from across the district. February 10
- Valentine Concert with The Journeymen — CFC will host a Valentine Concert on Sunday evening, February 10th featuring southern gospel group, The Journeymen Quartet. Ticket cost will be $5 and may be purchased in the church foyer before and after service times beginning next week. Cost includes a time of fellowship prior to the concert from 5:30-6:20pm with coffee/danishes provided by Starbucks! Concert will begin at 6:30pm. Call the church office for more details.
February 22 - March 2
- YWAM Opportunity — Looking for volunteers for a Youth With A Mission (YWAM) trip to the Dominican Republic. Skilled and unskilled labor is needed. February 22nd—March 2nd. Please contact George Diggins at gdiggins@hughes.net or 540-290-0828.

- Lay Retreat — 2008 Lay Retreat will be held at the Crowne Plaza Williamsburg at Fort Magruder on March 7th-9th. This year’s emphasis: “Zoe to the Max … Enjoying Your Life As Much As God Wants You To!" Rooms are limited, we encourage you to register early. The registration deadline is February 12th.
