Services
Sundays @ 9:00 & 10:45 am
At the end of the day, no one really needs another event to attend or another show to see. Yet, all of us need an encounter with our Creator God. At Community Fellowship we strive to create space in our busy lives to gather together and seek God as a community and respond to Him in transparent worship. We are a generationally broad community from all walks of life that is being transformed by the love of Christ to love God more, love others better, and to serve all.
In our services you will experience God through powerful music and other expressions of the arts with a dynamic, Biblical message that seeks to inspire, encourage, and challenge us as we journey and grow in our relationship with Christ.
We understand that all of life is connected so we strive to be holistic in our services. We look to create an environment in which you can connect with God and others...where the body, soul, mind, and spirit is being transformed by God.
We are the perfect church for imperfect people so we invite you to join us just the way you are, and to participate at whatever level you desire and feel led to.
Sacred Space
At Community Fellowship we believe that our services are much more than just sitting and listening or singing a few songs. When we gather together, it is our intention to be as holistic as possible by creating an atmosphere in which you can engage with God in many different ways. Of course you will experience powerful music, and a God-inspired word but you also have the opportunity to respond to God in worship through our Sacred Space.
Over 2000 years ago Jesus walked this earth and told stories, painted pictures, and used everyday objects that people were familiar with to capture minds and hearts. Today is no different. Recent studies have shown that 8 out of 10 people are non-auditory learners, meaning that they learn best visually or by doing or touching. In the Sacred Space, you have the opportunity to worship and learn through a multi-sensory approach.
The Sacred Space is an area in part of our sanctuary that provides several different ways to express worship. It may be through art (drawing, sculpting), reading of scripture, pondering imagery, prayer, confession, contemplation, communion, or many other forms. We strive to create an environment that follows a biblical foundation of worship that consists of sense of smell (
Exodus 25:6. Phil. 4:18), sense of touch (
Acts 6:6, 8:38, Psalm 47:1), sense of taste (
Psalm 34:8), sense of hearing (
Psalm 150, Matt. 26:30, Acts 2:14), and sense of sight (
Exodus 25:3-7, 26:1-2, 1 Kings 6:29-30.)
During our time together, you have the freedom to go into the Sacred Space at any time and we invite you to participate as you feel led. We encourage you to take a chance and step outside your comfort zone to experience the fullness of Christ through many different avenues of worship.
Baptism/Baby and Child Dedication
Throughout the year we celebrate together through special services of baptism and dedication of children and infants.
Baptism is physically being immersed in water signifying outwardly what God has done in your heart and life. We encourage everyone who has received Christ as their Savior to pursue baptism.
If you have small children or infants, dedicating them to the Lord is a great way to start and continue your journey of parenting. Dedication is a time to make a pledge to follow the Lord's leadership in the development of your child and allow the rest of the community to pledge that same commitment to your child as well.
